About
Sandra Trott is a Trauma & Attachment Therapist, writer and horsewoman based in regional Queensland.
Her work is grounded in a deep interest in trauma, attachment, behaviour and the ways people — and animals — learn to survive, adapt, relate and change. Alongside her clinical work, Sandra has spent much of her life with horses and cattle, and many of her ideas begin where theory meets real life: in the therapy room, in the paddock, and in the everyday moments that make patterns visible.
She writes about trauma, relationships, behaviour, horses, learning and the often-messy process of becoming more conscious of how we move through the world.

Trust the process
Two things I had been circling for a long time finally shifted on the same day: my daughter put herself to sleep, and I found traction again with working the horses. Neither happened because I pushed harder. Life had simply become ready.
